Cacao Oat Cookies
Looking for the perfect snack to curb cravings?
Try these Cacao and peanut butter oat cookies, I have tried to make recipe as easy as possible. You can also use this recipe for a healthy version of pancakes, just pour in a bit of extra milk until it is the right consistency.
If you can, try to add the items below into your staple pantry items. I find they are all useful for baking healthy dishes.
Ingredients:
1 x cup of quick oats
1/4 cup of almond milk
1 x ripe banana
1 x tbsp peanut butter
1/2 tbsp of coconut oil
1 x tbsp cacao powder
1 x tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 x egg
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix together until you get to a nice cookie dough consistency, if it is too running let it sit for 15 minutes or longer as the oats will soak up the milk.
Place on a baking try or in a muffin tray and cook for 20/30 minutes on 180 degrees
